This place is clearly one of the most pleasant restaurants in the neighborhood. Always when I go there I am deeply pleased. They manage their very high level service and the highest level of food they serve. You surely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.

Amazing!!! Everything from the service to the food. The girls and I were very excited because as soon as we walked in the door we were immediately greeted then seated in a nice booth. Luis, our waiter (pictured), followed shortly there after to get our drink orders. The restaurant was busy, but it didn't seem like it to us because the service was so impeccable. I ordered the Surfers Burrito (pictured). As you can see it was very big! I am going to have a wonderful dinner tonight LOL After we enjoyed a leisurely lunch we were given these cinnamon and sugar treats that we were able to dip in this wonderful whipped cream! I have no idea really what it was, but it was delicious! Thank you Luis, and Ricardo's Place for a wonderful lunch experience. I will definitely be going back.

We always enjoy the delicious food, excellent service and family atmosphere here. Our fajitas were prepared well and come to the table sizzling to enjoy. It's our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant on SJC.

We always love eating at Ricardo's Place. The service is excellent. They treat you like family. They are attentive to my kids and our usual waiter remembers their names. The food is delicious! Haven't had a single item on the menu that I have not enjoyed...I highly recommend you dine here....but be prepared for a bit of a wait to get seated...and park across the street or behind the restaurant at the larger shopping center.

Ever watched Cheers and see how NORM is greeted when he walks in. This is the place where everybody knows your name. Even without saying it, you are treated like an old family member from the minute the door opens and you are flooded with the delightful smells of their delicious food.The staff is like your sister, aunt and and Grandmother and grandfather, attending to your needs. They are super helpful and attentive. You dont want to miss this Mexican Culinary Experience and atmosphere that is unbeatable.

This is definitely a place everyone should try at least once. The staff are Very Very friendly and the service is always fast. It can get a bit crowded as it is very well worth the trip and money. Prices are fair, but I can get a bit pricey depending on what you'd like. But again it's worth every penny. My wife and I absolutely love coming here. You can also check out their lunch specials which come at a lower cost and are still Very filling!

Excellent Mexican food. The 7 Item bowl is especially great for keto dieters. Very pleasant service as well.

Great food and service. Hadn’t been here for years but decided to take the kid tonight. I got a chili Colorado chimichanga with fried jalapeños and onions he got the huevos and chorizo plate. Looked delicious.

The place had good prices and an extremely extensive menu. I like the build your own item section. The food tasted great but don't ask for spicy unless you really mean it! My wife asked for a little more spicy than came standard on her enchilada and she took one bite and could not eat anymore of it. So i traded my meal for hers. It was spicy but i like spicyand it tasted great to me. I would recommend this place for good Mexican food.

This place clearly knows how to please their clients. Constantly with a very welcoming demeanor. The food is fairly priced, constantly yummy and neat.

Food was wonderful and staff was very friendly. Facilities were clean.

The food here is fantastic! I highly recommend the ceviche and the enchiladas suizas. And don't forget to try the Chihuahua beer in tap.

Great place. Parking is super easy. It is not that crowded. Salsa taste to mush like tomato and really watery. The food look a little long. Vary nice👍 . They speak Spanish and English here.

Good drinks nice nice food, good service. A great place for kids so it can be noisy at times.

One of the best overall restaurants in Southern California. I've traveled the country in it eating in many of the top restaurants and I can say that the food the service the friendliness and the cost exemplary.

Very, very good. The salsa was the best taste ever. The surfer burrito is a definite recommend. Open on Monday nights now.

The food is very good and the service was very fast. They got our order correct. The salsa seemed to just be chopped tomatoes, not too exciting, ask for the green sauce. The only drawback to the place is it us tile floors, etc, so it is very loud. Difficult almost to have a conversation. That said, I came for the food, and I would come back.

Went here for taco Tuesday with my brother since he's been here a few times and says it's a really good place. Visit was worth it received quality customer service, and great taco Tuesday deals. Best bang for the buck that fills you up for about $12~. One of the best aspects of this place is the free chips + dip they give you while you wait. The churro type of dessert isssss amazing would get that everytime. Would definitely visit again.

Love this place! Every time we go there we are treated like family. Staff are all friendly, and the food is GREAT! my husband and I come here every time we're in San Juan Capistrano.

I love this place. If you want true Mexican food this is the place no fake sauce can flavor it's all true and the portions are so big I always need a to go box. I have been going to this place for years and every time I go I am treated with such great kindness and amazing customer service.

As soon as I stepped in the door I felt as if the entire staff both in the front and the back were staring at me in unison. I managed to momentarily get the attention from what appeared to be a server and we simply said hello to each other. Beyond that, no further acknowledgment. I just wanted to sit down and and eat some food. I assessed what could potentially be a horrible dining experience so I simply went next door and I was in and out within 15 minutes. Poor customer service

Taco Tuesday- Authentic Mexican food. Better and cheaper than the Adobe Grill in San Juan. Take my family there. Crispy Tacos Big and Greasy- Yum. Margaritas cost more now like $15! - they used to be cheap. pass. get beer. I didn't like the carne assada though- grisly and fatty. they need to get better meat at the Mexican market (5 stars) down the street.
